Yes. Whether you are looking for something to wear to a vintage wedding, need a one-of-a-kind classic prom dress, want a costume for a themed cruise, need a uniform for a theatrical event or school play or you just must have a costume to look like you just stepped out of a time period, or for your child to use for his next school book report. We can outfit it all.
Do you have a costume for...?
Absolutely. From today’s celebrities (TV, film, sports, and political) to historical characters from Biblical time to revolutionary, we carry everything you need to look just like that someone else. Period costumes, formal wear, wigs, hats, glasses, belts, and oodles of shoes – everything is possible at Echoes of Time, including a little expert advice!
Do you have stage make-up?
Of course. Whether you are hoping to outfit and make up several hundred “servers” at a themed party or just hope to give your costume look some special effects, you’ll find what you need to take it to another level. How long are your rentals? Can I take a rented piece out of town?
We often assist people going to weddings or “themed” parties out of town or getting ready to take a cruise. Return dates are typically 24-hours. You can make arrangements for extra rental time at an additional fee.
Can vintage clothing be returned?
We consider all sales FINAL, but you can discuss special circumstances with us at the time of purchase.
Can costumes be sized or altered? What about vintage clothing?
It's always best to come in to be fitted for your costume or outfit. Should minor alterations be necessary such as hem, arm length, etc., these can be done as time permits.
Can I place an item on hold, and if so for how long?
Depending on the season, we may be able to hold a particular item for one day.
Is what’s on-line the extent of your inventory? How often do you update?
We have thousands of costumes and accessories of every size, shape, color and style. It would be impossible to put it all on line. To give you an idea of what is possible, and an awesome adventure into costume heaven, come in for a visit to see the full scope of things to be had.
Do you buy vintage clothing?
YES!!! We buy Vintage Clothing dating from the 1800's to the 1970's (both men's and women's), casual, formal, suits, coats, hats, shoes, gloves, costume jewelry, eyewear, nightwear, new/old stock, cigarette cases, very old perfume bottles, powder compacts, ties (20's,30's,40's,50's), cuff links, and the list goes on and on. We love vintage! If you have something you want to sell us, please bring it by the shop or give us a call. We will come to you if you have a large assortment of all things Vintage. GO GREEN! Don't throw it away, sell it to us so others can benefit from those early fashions.
Can you tell me how much my purse, hat, dress, etc... is worth?
Unfortunately, many different factors are involved in valuing an item. It is quite difficult to take into account all of these factors when valuing an item so we are unable to provide estimates over the phone.
